Detecting Document Fraud

The National Contact Point of Greece and Luxembourg joined forces to organise in Athens, on 5 and 6 December 2018, an experts’ meeting on Detecting Document Fraud in the EU. Participants ranged from practitioners from the decentralised Immigration Services of Greece, government experts, EMN representatives and experts in detecting document fraud from Greece, Estonia, the Netherlands and Sweden as well as representatives of EASO and Frontex. Technological decelopments and state of the art approaches and innovations were presented to participants while discussions focused on everyday challenges while working in the field.
